Release Notes — October 31, 2026: ERA PDF Downloads, Copay Visibility, and Telehealth Audio Controls
By Clerie Team
This Clerie EHR release brings downloadable ERA statements, clearer copay details on sessions, smarter claim status tracking, and improved telehealth audio controls for mental health practitioners and practice management teams.
Billing & Remittance
- You can now download an ERA as a PDF directly from the Claims tab or an individual claim page, making it easy to save or share remittance details.
- ERA PDFs now print a claim exactly as the payer sent it, even when payment details span multiple service dates, so what you see matches the payer's record.
- ERA PDF downloads work reliably across older browsers, with cleaner page breaks and corrected headers on multi-date statements.
Claims Accuracy
- Claims that were fixed and resent no longer display their old rejection or denial, so your worklist reflects the claim's current status.
- A rejected claim moved back to Draft and resent now clears its prior rejection automatically.
- New rejections and denials that arrive after a resend are preserved and surfaced, so nothing gets quietly overwritten.
- Acceptances that arrive during the send window now clear the claim as expected.
Scheduling & Sessions
- Session details now show the client's copay right in the header, with the client clearly named on each copay line.
- Copays stay visible even when one billed client on a group session isn't accessible to you.
- No-show notes are retained and displayed where your staff actually look for them.
- Notes kept on a session stay attributed to their original author.
- The calendar now reflects note changes without needing a refresh.
- The Day view uses the same color legend as the Week view for consistent reading at a glance.
Client Management
- You can now add a family member by copying household information, saving time when onboarding couples and families.
- Discharging a client now archives only appointments that haven't started yet — past and in-progress sessions are left untouched. Related help text and warnings have been updated to say so clearly.
Telehealth
- A device menu is now available on the pre-join screen, so you can pick your camera, microphone, and speaker before entering a session.
- Speaker changes now apply in order and route all participants' audio correctly, and your device choice sticks even if the first attempt to connect fails.
- If a speaker selection is refused by your browser or device, the menu returns to the speaker actually in use.
- EMDR tones now play through your chosen speaker.
- In-session chat messages preserve line breaks and spacing, so longer messages stay readable.
Notes & Messaging
- Case note summaries now render with their original formatting, and viewing a note no longer risks overwriting its summary.
- Messages keep their line breaks and spacing, making longer exchanges easier to read.
Reports
- Revenue can now be grouped by clinician.
- Clinicians who share the same name are clearly distinguished in reports, so numbers are attributed to the right person.
- Held sessions are counted under the code they were actually billed with.
- Payroll reporting language and payer filtering have been clarified and corrected.
Payers
- Every enrollment badge now comes with a plain-language explanation, and you can jump straight to Stedi's payer lookup for more detail.
- Status guide wording now matches what you see in the payer table.
