Release Notes — October 30, 2026: Client Account Pages, Payroll-Ready Reports, and Smarter Client Lists
By Clerie Team
This Clerie EHR release brings a dedicated client Account page for billing, new payroll and intake reports, cleaner client lists, and more reliable session recording for mental health practitioners and practice management teams.
Billing & Client Accounts
- Your clients now have a dedicated Account page, giving you a clearer view of their balance, payments, and credits in one place.
- Account credits and prepayments now appear as their own line items on a client's Transactions list, so you can see exactly what was collected and what it was spent on.
- Account totals and the transaction list now update together the moment you collect a payment, so the numbers always agree.
- Booking with a supervisor now opens the plan dialog directly instead of showing a dismissible message, making it clear what's needed to proceed.
- Past sessions can now be corrected onto a supervisor, and plan checks are applied consistently across clinics and intake bookings.
Reports
- A new Completed notes report helps you prepare payroll with confidence.
- Group sessions now wait for their individual notes before counting toward payroll, so a group is never paid out twice.
- A new Upcoming intakes report shows who has paperwork outstanding and who's ready to go, with a clear "Do first" list of clients still owing paperwork.
- Saved reports now keep your hidden columns and chosen settings when you re-save them, and report tiles always reflect the columns you're actually viewing.
- Clinician hours summaries now display consistently on screen and in exported PDFs.
Client Lists & Caseloads
- "My clients only" now shows the clients actually assigned to you — transferred clients drop off your list automatically, while anyone with an upcoming appointment stays visible.
- Therapists now land on "My clients only" by default for a more focused starting view.
- The Name column now sorts by the name each row leads with, including preferred names and nicknames, in a single consistent alphabet.
Treatment Plans & Cases
- Signing a treatment plan now reports success reliably, and one clear rule governs who takes responsibility for a signed revision.
- A case's primary clinician can now author that case's treatment plans.
- Changing or offboarding a case's primary clinician now updates the care team correctly, with no leftover assignments.
Claims & Insurance
- Corrected claims now follow clearer status rules: a claim the payer hasn't answered stays in Submitted, and a claim with a remaining patient balance stays in Reconciliation rather than moving on prematurely.
- Moving a claim out of Resolved now clears the encounter's Resolved mark so your worklists stay accurate.
- Prior payer adjustments on secondary claims are now reported once, at the correct level, reducing rejections.
Sessions & Recording
- Session pages now show live recording status so you always know whether you're recording.
- If the microphone is lost, you'll see a clear "Microphone stopped" message instead of a misleading "Recording now" state, and the microphone is released properly after an error.
Messaging
- Text messages no longer greet clients twice when your template already includes a greeting, with smarter detection of names, salutations, and labels.
Reliability
- Improved monitoring and alerting across our infrastructure helps us catch capacity issues before they affect your practice.
- Organization roles now stay in sync between your browser and our servers, so permissions always reflect your current access.
