Release Notes — October 27, 2026: Historical Record Uploads, Shared Calendars, and Smarter Insurance Verification

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR release brings bulk historical record uploads, practice-wide calendar management, client-facing insurance details, and more reliable claim handling for mental health therapists and practice managers.

Historical Records Archive

  • You can now upload entire files and folders into your historical records archive, preserving the folder each file came from so your documents land exactly where you expect.
  • Large batches upload smoothly — files queue up and process in a controlled flow instead of all starting at once, so your browser stays responsive.
  • If an upload is interrupted, you'll see a clear notice and can resume right where you left off. Resumed uploads now match correctly to the original file, so you won't end up with duplicates or mismatches.
  • Each selection creates a single, tidy entry in your upload tray, with one summary notification per group instead of a flood of alerts.
  • Cancelled files are no longer counted toward your batch totals, and retrying after a cancellation cleans up properly.
  • Empty files and files with unusual paths now upload reliably instead of failing silently.

Calendar & Scheduling

  • Practice owners and office administrators can now view and manage everyone's calendar events in one place, making coverage and scheduling decisions much easier.
  • Other team members see colleagues' time as simple "Busy" blocks, protecting privacy while still showing availability. The legend shows a single "Busy" entry rather than repeating for each person.
  • Busy blocks can't be opened or counted as your own appointments, so your session totals stay accurate.
  • The calendar feed now returns every session in the selected range, and all-day absences appear correctly in Day view.
  • Clicking an empty slot in a colleague's column now opens the right kind of event — and you can no longer accidentally create an event on someone else's calendar without permission.

Insurance & Eligibility

  • Marking a policy as verified now clears errors from the earlier automated check, so your verification status reflects reality at a glance.
  • Manually verified policies stay out of the verification queue's to-do list, keeping your worklist focused on what still needs attention.
  • Manual verification clearly flags benefit amounts as manually entered, and those amounts are preserved rather than overwritten by later checks.
  • Superseded coverage no longer displays a confusing status badge.
  • Verification records now retain the name of the team member who performed the check.
  • Verification, manual verification, and claim form edits now follow one consistent permission rule across the platform.

Client Portal

  • Clients can now view their insurance card, subscriber, and coverage details directly in the portal.
  • The portal shows only the relevant card and policy holder information, with accurate relationship labels.
  • Insurance details in the portal are now read-only, so verified information stays intact.

Claims & Billing

  • You can now send a separate pay-to address on claims. PO Box addresses are refused up front at submission time — not hours later in processing — so you learn about the problem while you can still fix it.
  • A claim's pay-to address now retains its second address line, and claims submitted without a pay-to address stay that way through unrelated edits.
  • Practice address validation now runs within the same transaction as corrections and voids, so a refused action rolls back cleanly without leaving a claim in a half-changed state.

Reporting

  • A new set of billing reports with drill-down views helps you understand revenue and activity across your practice.
  • Reports now include a convenient back button when navigating from the All Reports view.
  • Payment reversals now correctly include manual adjustments alongside automated entries.

Payment Reconciliation

  • When service codes are replaced on a visit, payments now pair by code across the entire visit for more accurate reconciliation.
  • A code that remains on a visit keeps the payment the payer applied to it, preventing incorrect write-offs.

Support

  • When your support issue is marked resolved, you'll now be told that the fix can take up to 30 minutes to reach your account — so you know exactly what to expect.
