Release Notes — October 23, 2026: Scheduled Report Digests, Smarter Consent Forms, and Cleaner Claims
By Clerie Team
Clerie's latest EHR release brings scheduled report digests, follow-up drafts from report rows, clearer consent form behavior, and more accurate CMS-1500 claim fields for mental health practices.
Reports & Digests
- You can now schedule report digests to be delivered automatically to the recipients you choose, so your team stays current without pulling reports manually.
- Recipients you remove from a digest no longer disappear from your recipient list — you can re-add them at any time.
- You can create follow-up drafts directly from rows in a report, turning insights into action in one step.
- Accounts receivable figures now reflect what's truly outstanding, and reports no longer surface dead or out-of-scope links.
- Paperwork follow-up rows stay quiet until a client has actually signed in through their intake link, cutting down on false nudges.
- Note drafts are no longer generated for rows where the clinician column is hidden.
Consent Forms & Onboarding
- Restoring an archived consent form now returns it to exactly the state it was in before — no surprise changes to its settings.
- Removing a form from intake no longer deactivates it. Only the intake checkbox changes; everything else stays the same.
- Adding a live form to intake now activates it automatically, so it's ready for clients right away.
- Archiving and unarchiving now behave consistently everywhere in the app, and default forms support the intake checkbox too.
- After you save a form, the list refreshes in place instead of flashing a loading state.
- Only forms you've marked as required hold up a client's consent completion — retired forms no longer block it.
- Consent completion is now calculated the same way across reminders, your clients list, and client readiness indicators.
Claims & Billing
- CMS-1500 claims now print your practice taxonomy in Box 33b and the group number in Box 11, with Box 33b filled only alongside the practice NPI.
- Box 33b overrides you've entered are preserved — including when they match your practice default — and the pre-filled value now follows edits to Box 33a.
- Pasting a taxonomy code in settings now works even when it includes a description or several codes; Clerie keeps the right code intact.
- Declined card charges are now logged in the client's activity with Stripe's decline reason and payment ID, so you can see exactly what happened.
Record Import
- Importing an existing client's treatment plan now respects your conflict-handling setting.
- Imported diagnoses are cleaner and more accurate: resolved problems, coverage order, and relationships are handled correctly, negated problems are no longer brought in as diagnoses, and stray punctuation no longer sticks to ICD-10 codes.
- Every skipped plan is now reported so you know exactly what did and didn't come across.
- Large import archives now open reliably in the browser, and a running import no longer blocks its own source file.
Clients List & Other Improvements
- Assignment expiry on the clients list is now judged against a consistent clock, so statuses no longer shift while you work.
- Bulk actions on the clients list give clear, visible feedback when the list updates.
- Per-clinician pricing is now calculated from actual rows rather than an average, and the 7-day no-card notice uses clearer wording about your clinic's access and per-clinician fee.
- Diagnoses now read the same way across chart, import fill, and plan PDFs.
