Release Notes — October 22, 2026: New Outcomes & Caseload Reports, Smarter AI Notes

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR release brings new outcomes and caseload reporting, pronoun-aware AI documentation, and clearer billing and telehealth experiences for mental health practitioners.

New Reports

  • A new Outcomes report shows score change per measure across your practice, available to team members with access to Assessments.
  • New Caseload and Diagnoses reports give you a clearer picture of who you're serving, with diagnoses visible only to those with Treatment Plans access.
  • Archived clients are now excluded from Caseload, Diagnoses, Retention, and Time-to-Appointment reports, so your numbers reflect your active practice.
  • Reports now correctly attribute sessions to the clinician who actually ran them, and no longer count a terminated client's future bookings as active.

AI Documentation

  • AI-drafted notes, intake summaries, and claim suggestions no longer propose diagnoses. A diagnosis you've already recorded is still carried forward as history, but AI will never invent one.
  • Every AI note and summary now respects the client's pronouns exactly as entered. When pronouns and gender information conflict, the draft simply refers to "the client."
  • You can now regenerate a transcript summary when you want a fresh draft.
  • Ask AI runs on faster, more cost-effective models with a larger output budget, and stops cleanly if you close or navigate away mid-generation.

Billing & Payments

  • Owners get a working one-click button to open their payment dashboard, and if the link can't be created, you'll see what to do next instead of a generic "try again."
  • Claim reconciliation no longer disturbs the ledger of a settled claim — only true draft claims affect pricing.
  • Clinics that have canceled no longer receive declined-card emails.
  • Starting a first subscription now requires a verified card instead of silently retrying, and team purchases continue smoothly even when one clinician's card is declined.
  • The Transaction Details dialog is now wider and easier to read.
  • Staff-added account credits now clearly retain their "Credit added by staff" label.

Claims

  • Confirming a same-payer correction no longer fails, and the void-choice button label is now readable.
  • A change to a line's place of service is no longer treated as a code change when refiling a duplicate denial.

Telehealth

  • When a patient's microphone is blocked, Clerie now tells them exactly where it's blocked — browser, site, or operating system — and gives the right fix (for OS-level blocks, quit and reopen rather than reload).

Client Portal & Consents

  • Staff viewing a client's portal can now see that client's signed consents.
  • The signature box only pre-fills with the viewer's own signature, preventing accidental proxy signing.
  • Staff who are denied access now see a clear explanation of why.

Security & Access

  • Deactivated owner accounts are now properly refused at sign-in.
  • Assessment scores, answers, and AI text quoting them are now restricted to staff with Assessments access.

Intake

  • Email verification codes now come from our own domain and accurately state how long they remain valid, matching the information sent by SMS.
