Release Notes — October 20, 2026: Drill Into Any Report Number, Plus Clinic-Wide Recording Defaults

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR release lets therapists drill into any report figure to see the underlying rows, set a clinic-wide Session Recording default for new cases, and enjoy smarter claim safeguards and recording reminders for smoother mental health practice management.

Reporting

  • You can now click into a number on your reports to open a drill-down panel showing exactly which records make up that figure.
  • Saved reports carry their own columns into the drill-down panel, so what you see matches how you built the report.
  • Exporting to PDF now prints your tiles exactly as they appear on screen, including any narrowing you've applied through a drill-down.
  • Tiles showing zero no longer invite a click, since there's nothing underneath to show.
  • Reports and drill-down data are now kept separate per user, so you always see figures scoped to your own access.
  • If your session has expired, a report tab now tells you clearly that it couldn't load instead of leaving you guessing.
  • Totals no longer open a panel while a report is still refreshing, and the Write-offs previous-period comparison now stays put.

Session Recording

  • Your clinic can now choose whether new cases start with Session Recording turned on by default, saving your team from setting it case by case.
  • Leaving a settings page open no longer risks reverting your recording default back on.
  • When a session reaches its booked end time, you'll get a prompt after a short grace period, complete with an audible chime and a flashing tab title so you don't miss it even in another window.
  • Time-limit warnings now chime and flash the tab title as well.
  • Longer bookings and extended time limits are now handled correctly, and start-of-session notices for long bookings only state what's actually true for that booking.

Claims & Billing

  • Clerie now warns you — rather than blocking you — before refiling a claim the payer hasn't responded to yet, so you stay in control.
  • Replacement claims are now prevented when a payer could only read the correction as a duplicate, helping you avoid denials.
  • A manually typed claim number no longer overrides the payer's number on file, and refusal messages now clearly explain what each button does.
  • Payments parked against visits denied as duplicates can now be properly resolved.
  • Rolling back an accepted remittance no longer leaves a misleading "ERA applied" entry in the activity history.

Stedi & Enrollment

  • Enrollment form links now open the PDF directly instead of returning an authorization error.
  • Payer responses with trailing punctuation are now handled gracefully, and any refusals are shown as a clear, readable page.

Cases

  • Case pages now explain what went wrong when data can't be loaded, instead of failing silently.
