Release Notes — October 15, 2026: Smarter Risk Alerts and More Reliable Session Recording
By Clerie Team
This Clerie EHR release brings severity filtering for risk alerts, clearer supervisor visibility, more reliable session recording, and smoother support requests for mental health practitioners and practice management teams.
Risk Alerts
- You can now filter risk alerts by severity, with live counts for each level so you can see at a glance where attention is needed. High and Critical alerts are shown by default.
- Acknowledged alerts can now be shown on the full alerts page with an optional toggle, so nothing is permanently hidden from view.
- Supervisors now reliably see the alerts belonging to their supervisees, including medium-severity, open, routed, and case-led alerts.
- Open-alert counts are now accurate and the list shows every matching alert, so totals and severity counts stay correct even when a page has no results.
- You can approve several alerts in a row without the list getting in your way, and acknowledging an alert is clearly separate from supervisory approval.
- Alert lists no longer briefly show outdated rows while refreshing, and later pages are labeled by their range so you always know where you are.
Session Recording
- Recordings now end automatically with the booked session, so an appointment that wraps up doesn't leave a recording running.
- When you start recording an all-day booking, you'll now see a clear note about the 4-hour recording limit up front.
- The "Checking…" status now resolves correctly and only appears for recordings actually being processed — no more sessions stuck in limbo.
- Stalled uploads now retry more intelligently, improving the chance your recording completes on the first try.
- A take that captured no audio is now correctly reported as zero length instead of unknown, and a partial take after a confirmed stop is no longer treated as a complete recording.
Support Requests
- Support requests are now sent only once every attachment has finished uploading, so nothing goes missing.
- Attachments can no longer be added or removed mid-send, preventing confusing partial submissions, and a retry reuses files you already uploaded.
- If the no-PHI confirmation box isn't ticked, Send now tells you clearly instead of silently doing nothing.
- Clearer guidance on what you can attach, where attached images go, and confirmation that internal IDs are fine to include in a support request.
Scheduling & Client Management
- Providers who have left your practice are no longer offered when adding a new client or booking a prospective client, preventing accidental assignments.
- Clients who have participated in feature request voting can now be deleted without errors.
Billing
- An address lookup error now stops a claim submission before it reaches the clearinghouse, so you catch the issue early rather than after a rejection.
- Deleting an offline payer now also removes its associated claims address, keeping your payer list clean.
Feature Requests
- Voting on feature requests is now limited to staff members.
- Feature request notes and status changes no longer error out when the original author's account has been removed, and remaining voters are still notified.
