Release Notes — October 10, 2026: Clearer Claims, Smarter Analytics, and More Reliable Recordings

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR update brings a new unsigned notes report, more accurate claims and remittance handling, and sturdier session recording for mental health practices. Therapists and billers get clearer, more trustworthy billing and practice management data.

New: Providers With Unsigned Notes

  • You can now see, at a glance, which providers have unsigned notes outstanding, so your team can close documentation gaps before they affect billing.
  • Clients marked absent no longer count against a provider's unsigned note total, so the report reflects only the notes that genuinely need signing.
  • Clear in-product guidance explains exactly what qualifies as an unsigned note, so everyone on your team reads the report the same way.

Analytics Accuracy

  • Days in A/R now reflects today's outstanding balance against the last 90 days of charges, with corrected sourcing and day counting for a number you can rely on.
  • Claim aging now displays your own claim reference instead of the payer's internal control number, making it far easier to match rows to the claims you're tracking.
  • Aging rows that haven't yet been reconciled are now dated correctly, and service-day calculations are pinned to your clinic's local day so totals don't shift unexpectedly.

Claims and Filing

  • Claim numbers are now tied to the filing they actually answer, and a claim is only considered 'sent' once a real transmission has occurred — no more guessing from incomplete records.
  • A biller's decision now carries through resends, and a rejected resend keeps the claim number it cited, so your filing history stays consistent.
  • When two filing decisions conflict, Clerie flags the conflict instead of silently picking one, and defers to evidence that definitively settles it.
  • If a filing can't be read, the payer and client stay marked unknown rather than being filled in with a guess.
  • The review panel now appears on rejected claims, and placeholder resubmission codes are ignored so they don't muddy your claim details.

Remittance and EOB Handling

  • Remittances that date the overall claim but not individual service lines are now handled correctly, so Unmatched ERA entries no longer appear undated.
  • A single-day claim statement period is now used to date an otherwise undated remittance claim, filling in gaps automatically.
  • Backfilled dates are applied only when a remittance claim matches uniquely, preventing incorrect dates from being written to your records.
  • Negative adjustments are now booked consistently across statements, and the conflict dialog clearly lists any hand-keyed negative adjustment for your review.
  • Re-entering a remittance no longer disturbs other payers and will decline anything it cannot accurately restate; replacing a response correctly removes its associated negative adjustment.
  • The Apply ERA action in the unmatched remittance dialog now reliably reaches the server.

Session Recording Reliability

  • Uploads that hang now time out cleanly instead of leaving a recording stuck in limbo.
  • You won't be logged out for inactivity while a recording is still finishing its upload, and idle detection now works correctly even in background or throttled browser tabs.
  • Stopping a recording now waits for every recorder to fully finish, reducing the chance of a truncated or lost session.

Other Improvements

  • Clinician royalty timing now anchors correctly to a clinician's therapist role.
