Release Notes — October 9, 2026: Report Filters, Simpler Billing, and Calendar Repairs

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR release brings powerful new reporting filters, removes ERA charges from your bill, and improves calendar reliability for mental health practices. See what's new for therapists and practice administrators.

Reporting & Analytics

  • You can now filter reports by date range, clinician, payer, location, and CPT code to get exactly the view of your practice you need.
  • The Reports tab has a cleaner, more intuitive layout built around the way you actually build and read a report.
  • Telehealth activity is now identified from the session type itself, and CPT codes are kept current, so your numbers reflect how care was actually delivered.
  • The Missing Insurance report is now more accurate — coverage is judged by the date of service rather than the day you happen to be looking, and verification status is taken into account. Previously overstated counts have been corrected.
  • Date ranges behave correctly even in edge cases, including reversed ranges and "Last 12 months" viewed on a leap day.
  • Exports are more dependable: a report that errors will no longer offer a CSV, and exports always reflect the report you're looking at.

Billing

  • You are no longer charged for ERAs. Remittance advice no longer counts toward your usage.
  • ERAs invoiced before this change are shown at what they actually cost you, so your history stays accurate.
  • Your usage summary is cleaner — rows only appear for activity that actually has something to show, and all clinics now see usage presented consistently.
  • ERA drafts awaiting review are now clearly flagged so nothing sits unnoticed.

Calendar & Scheduling

  • When a recurring appointment series is replaced, its past sessions are now preserved and retitled rather than deleted — your historical record stays intact.
  • Recurring series are now titled with clinician initials, making a busy calendar far easier to scan.
  • We've added a repair process for recurring series whose occurrences were previously removed, restoring appointments that should still be on your calendar.
  • Calendar invitations are only sent after an appointment is saved, so clients never receive notices for something that didn't happen.
  • Saved appointments are protected during series changes — no saved event is removed behind the scenes.

Booking

  • Clinicians can now book an appointment on behalf of the case's primary clinician.
  • Appointment booking now only offers therapists at the case's own clinic, including on cases without an assigned primary.
  • Recurring series are correctly assigned to the clinician who booked them.
  • The clinician picker and "Book for" now follow the same rules, so who you can select is consistent everywhere.

Assistant

  • When you pick a person from a list, the assistant now names exactly who its answer is about — no more ambiguity.
  • The assistant no longer assumes the page you're on tells it who you mean, and will ask when a question needs a specific person.
  • Options you didn't choose are cleared away for a cleaner conversation.

Payers

  • Refreshing payer information is now more robust, with better handling of unknown payers and a time limit so the refresh never hangs.
