Release Notes — October 5, 2026: Smoother addendum editing and signing

By Clerie Team

This Clerie EHR release makes note addendums easier to revise, withdraw, and sign, with clearer feedback throughout the documentation lifecycle for mental health therapists.

Addendum Editing

  • You can now revise an addendum directly from the session page, so corrections follow the same familiar lifecycle as the rest of your note.
  • Only one addendum editor opens at a time — you won't be able to start a new addendum while your own is still unfinished, preventing duplicate or lost work.
  • Signing is now blocked while an addendum still has unsaved text, so nothing you've written gets left behind.
  • Refreshing the page after saving an addendum no longer blanks out the card — your saved content stays visible.
  • The addendum editor now uses a clean white background for easier reading and a more consistent look.
  • Withdrawn addendums now move to the correct list right away, and each withdrawal is properly attributed to the person who made it.

Signing Improvements

  • When a signature attempt is declined, your typed signature is no longer left sitting in the dialog — the form resets cleanly so you can try again.
  • If you're viewing an older version of a note, you'll now see a clear, informational message rather than an alarming error.
  • Signing now always reflects the most recently saved version of your note, so you can be confident you're signing exactly what you reviewed.
  • Withdraw confirmations now close as soon as the action finishes, instead of leaving you waiting.
  • Declined or refused actions now appear directly in your note history, so you always have a complete record of what happened.

Permissions & Reliability

  • Edit permissions for addendums are now checked more precisely, so you only see editing options where you actually have the right to make changes.
  • Addendum details now consistently show which version of the note they belong to, making your documentation history easier to follow.
