Release Notes — October 2, 2026: Find Notes by Date, Search Clients by Phone
By Clerie Team
Clerie's latest EHR update lets mental health therapists find progress notes by signed, created, or updated date and look up clients by phone number in any picker, plus a long list of billing and scheduling reliability fixes.
Progress Note Search
- You can now find a progress note by the date it was signed — the search covers the entire chart, including archived notes.
- Filter progress notes by when they were created or last updated, not just when they were signed, so unsigned and in-progress work is just as easy to track down.
- Matched notes now display the specific date that matched your search, so you can see at a glance why a note appeared in your results.
- Clearing a date range keeps the date field you selected, so you can adjust your search without starting over.
- The date filter now lives in the note list header as a single shared control, with a clearer summary card showing exactly what's being filtered.
- When a note list can't complete a search, you'll see that it couldn't look — rather than a misleading "no results found." Lists also keep their rows through refreshes instead of flashing empty.
Client Search
- You can now look up a client by phone number in every client picker, including the identity selector — phone and name results come back together.
- Client pickers are sized for picking, making it easier to scan and select the right person.
- Name lookups are noticeably faster, and stale results no longer linger or stay clickable while you keep typing.
Billing
- Date range fields are fully typeable again — a typed date now commits when you move off the field instead of fighting you on every keystroke.
- Picking a date from the calendar applies right away, and entering a reversed range in one gesture is handled correctly.
- Editing one end of a date range no longer shifts the other end, and reordering dates keeps the fields and their limits in agreement.
- When loading archived billing records, the most recent request always wins — no more results arriving out of order.
Scheduling & Calendar
- If your calendar connection is refused, the account owner is now prompted to reconnect so appointments keep syncing.
- Calendar sync problems at one practice no longer slow down or block appointment creation for anyone else.
- Undoing or restoring a session is no longer held up behind a pending cancellation, and a pending cancellation can't wipe out a session you've just restored.
