Release Notes — September 26, 2026: Treatment Plan Reviews, Note Revisions, and Telehealth Accuracy

By Clerie Team

Clerie's latest EHR release brings supervisor review workflows for treatment plans, clearer progress note revision requests, and more accurate telehealth session reporting for mental health practitioners.

Treatment Plan Review Workflow

  • Supervisors can now send a treatment plan back for edits instead of only approving or rejecting it.
  • When a plan is returned, the author can see exactly which edits were requested and why.
  • Plans awaiting supervisor review are now clearly surfaced so nothing sits unnoticed.
  • Review alerts are now scoped to the specific plan they concern, cutting down on noise.

Treatment Plans: Visibility and Accuracy

  • You can now see every treatment plan a client has, not just the current one — including older plans and plans not yet tied to a case.
  • Treatment plans now display the full plan document rather than a partial view.
  • Plans open directly from their own panel, so you can jump straight into the one you're reviewing.
  • Duplicate plan details and occasional blank sections have been cleaned up for a clearer read.
  • Plan lists, review panels, and archived views now stay in sync and refresh together.
  • The Treatment Tasks card has been removed from the client Treatment tab to simplify the page.

Progress Notes

  • A returned progress note now tells you why it was sent back for revision.
  • Returning a note for revision clears its signature, so revised work is re-signed intentionally.
  • Signed notes are now protected from having their content overwritten.
  • Supervisor approval comments appear directly on the session page.
  • Notes and treatment plans now share a single "Edits Requested" area, so all your pending revisions live in one place.
  • Saving a note now reflects changes immediately and consistently across the chart.

Telehealth Reliability

  • Session end reasons are now reported accurately — a call that never connected is no longer recorded as one that ended.
  • If reconnecting to a session fails, you'll see the real reason instead of a misleading "session ended" message.
  • Reconnect options now only appear when reconnecting is actually possible.

Assessments and Scheduling

  • Assessments are no longer sent for appointments that didn't take place.
  • Every-other-session assessment schedules now track reliably and send just once per appointment.
  • Resetting an assessment cadence now clears skipped sends while preserving existing assignments.
  • Appeal packages now print the assessment's scored band rather than a bare number.

Client Portal

  • The portal's Sessions area now opens directly on Upcoming Sessions.
  • Clients no longer briefly see a "no sessions" message while their list is still loading.
  • Edit-request attribution no longer gets cut off inside shortened titles.
