Release Notes — September 20, 2026: Smarter Payer Search and Clearer Claim Matching

Clerie's latest EHR update brings smarter payer search, clearer match confidence, and more reliable claim submissions for therapists and mental health practices.

Payer Search & Selection

• Payer search now finds and displays each payer's Stedi ID, so you can confirm you've picked the right one before submitting a claim.
• You can search directly by Stedi ID, not just by name — helpful when a payer goes by several different names.
• Exact matches now appear at the top of the payer picker, so the right result is the first result.
• When choosing a payer while editing a claim, you'll see exactly what matched — the ID, the name, or both — and you can quickly step to the next match.
• A payer's own name now ranks ahead of administrators that merely list it, cutting down on confusing lookalike results.
• Match results now tell you how confident the match is, with wording that reflects that confidence honestly rather than overstating it.

Payer Capabilities & Enrollment

• Clerie now checks what each payer actually supports before you start work, so you're not set up for a transaction the payer can't accept.
• Payers that can't carry a transaction no longer offer enrollment for it, saving you wasted setup time.
• The payer directory has been refreshed with up-to-date information.
• Payer information now shows when it's out of date right on the screen, so you always know how current what you're looking at is.
• If payer support information can't be retrieved, you'll see a note explaining that — it will never silently block you from working.

Claims & Billing Reliability

• Claim submission retries are more dependable, reducing the chance a submission gets stuck partway through.
• Long-running payer lookups that stall now report clearly as a timeout instead of hanging indefinitely.
• Claim job statuses are tracked more consistently, improving the accuracy of what you see while claims are processing.
