Release Notes — September 14, 2026: Diagnosis Lookup for Billing
By Clerie Team
Clerie's EHR for mental health practitioners adds a dedicated Diagnoses view for billing staff, smarter claim workflows, and note-writing fixes that protect your work.
Diagnosis Lookup in Billing
- Billing staff can now look up a client's diagnosis codes directly, without needing to dig through clinical documentation.
- Diagnoses now live in their own sub-tab, making them faster to find while you work a claim.
- You can pull up a client's diagnoses right from the claim and CMS-1500 editors, so the codes you need are always a click away.
- When you open the diagnoses view from a claim, it automatically shows the diagnoses for that claim's case.
- A new Refresh button lets you pull the latest diagnoses without leaving the page.
- Entries without a recognized code are now clearly labelled, and we've corrected the wording to say "Unrecognized" when a code can't be read — so you know the entry exists and just needs attention.
Billing Workflow Improvements
- The all-cases billing view now groups and counts claims consistently, so totals match what you see on screen.
- Billing team members now land on the Billing tab when opening a client, instead of Documents.
- Corrected two inaccurate messages that could appear in the diagnoses view.
- The diagnoses view now loads information when you open it, making the rest of the billing screen feel snappier.
Notes and Client Records
- If a note is refused or fails to save, your typed text is now preserved so you never lose your work.
- The case picker on notes now lists cases in a consistent, predictable order, and opt-out wording has been corrected for accuracy.
- Default case selection now applies only where it's appropriate, preventing unexpected case switches for users who work across multiple cases.
