Release Notes — September 8, 2026: More Accurate Revenue Insights and Billing Cleanup

By Clerie Team

This Clerie EHR release brings more reliable AI revenue reporting, cleaner billing workflows, and payroll fixes that help mental health practices trust the numbers behind their practice management.

AI Reporting & Insights

  • Revenue questions that include a date range now respect that range — asking about a specific month or quarter returns results for exactly that window.
  • Impossible dates (like February 30th) are now caught and flagged instead of quietly returning misleading results.
  • When there's genuinely no activity in a period, you'll see a clear 'no activity' answer rather than a confusing zero.
  • Multi-period questions now return a complete table with every period represented, so gaps are obvious instead of invisible.
  • Clicking 'generate' twice in quick succession no longer kicks off duplicate work — one click, one result.
  • Usage limits now count a blocked session accurately as a single denial instead of double-counting it.

Billing

  • Retired an outdated void workflow in favor of the current approach, with clearer in-app guidance so it's obvious which path to take when correcting a charge.
  • Collected-cash reporting now reads from a single consistent source, so revenue totals line up across the reports and dashboards where you view them.

Payroll

  • Sessions that are only partially decided are now handled correctly in payroll calculations.
  • Payments from payers who aren't on the client's list are now accounted for properly, so compensation totals reflect all the money actually received.
