Release Notes — September 6, 2026: More Accurate Payroll Reporting

By Clerie Team

This Clerie EHR release brings major accuracy improvements to payroll and compensation reporting for mental health practices, plus tighter access controls on treatment plans.

Payroll & Compensation Reporting

  • Payroll exports are working reliably again — reports download cleanly every time.
  • Couples and family appointments now appear as a single row that names everyone who attended, instead of a separate row per client.
  • Sessions that were deleted, archived, or cancelled without a fee are now excluded from pay runs, so your totals reflect only real, billable work.
  • Cancelled future appointments that carried a copay no longer slip into a pay run.
  • Each billable unit is now counted in exactly one pay period, eliminating duplicate credit across periods.
  • The units column is now labeled and totaled according to the unit type being measured, so you always know what you're looking at.
  • Sessions marked as no-charge are no longer mislabeled as needing billing.
  • Status now reflects the most current billing outcome for each row rather than an outdated one.
  • Each row now indicates whether there is an appointment behind it, making it easier to spot standalone charges.
  • Removed the Payment Events column from both reports to reduce noise and make them easier to scan.
  • Exported spreadsheets now display all characters correctly in Excel — no more garbled symbols.
  • Recovered name details now appear at the end of a name, where you'd expect to read them.
  • Work that hasn't been delivered yet is handled correctly and no longer excluded by mistake.

Treatment Plans & Security

  • Treatment plan access is now restricted to active staff members, adding another layer of protection around sensitive client information.
