Release Notes — September 2, 2026: More reliable sign-in, cleaner billing reminders, and accurate appointment views

This Clerie EHR release improves account access and invitations, stops payment reminders to clients who already paid, and makes upcoming appointment details more accurate for mental health practitioners.

Account Access & Invitations

• Password reset and invitation links now match your email address more reliably, so you get to the right account the first time — even if your email was entered with different capitalization.
• Invitations now resolve to the correct person instead of occasionally landing on an unrelated match, making onboarding new team members safer and more predictable.
• When multiple accounts could match an invitation, your practice's staff accounts are now prioritized, so team members are connected to the right workspace.
• We removed an outdated owner sign-up path and tightened protections on older invitation links, reducing the chance of unexpected access issues. Therapist invitations continue to work as usual.
• Safeguards on invitation and reset links now apply consistently instead of being skipped in certain cases, and limits are enforced clearly rather than quietly.

Billing & Payments

• Clients who have already paid will no longer receive payment reminders, so your billing communication stays accurate and professional.
• Statement and audit totals now use the same calculation as your live billing, so the numbers you review always match what your clients see.
• Insurance explanation-of-benefits details are now tied to the correct charge line, giving you accurate encounter context when reconciling payments.

Clients & Scheduling

• Archived sessions no longer appear as a client's next appointment, so your upcoming schedule reflects only real, active visits.
• Clients now receive a clear email for certain account actions instead of being redirected unexpectedly.

Reliability

• We strengthened automated testing against real data for sign-in, invitations, and billing reminders, and fixed background processes that generate documents and PDFs — so day-to-day workflows are more dependable.
